💰Alchemy Pay Now Supports UPI Payments: Alchemy Pay now offers support for India's UPI domestic transfer payments, facilitating crypto purchases in the country. This integration with the Unified Payments Interface, India's domestic transfer system, allows Indian bank account holders to trade cryptocurrency using Indian rupees. As an international payment gateway provider, Alchemy Pay can process transactions domestically, enabling Indians to buy crypto with a minimum purchase value of 1,250 INR. The company serves as a vital link between fiat and crypto networks worldwide. The Singapore-based payment provider offers a fiat-to-crypto on-ramp plugin, which is now utilized by various wallets, DeFi platforms, gaming, and NFT marketplaces, and exchanges such as OKX and LBank.

🪙 Over A Two-year Period, Israel Confiscated Approximately 200 Binance Accounts Due To Connections With Terrorism: Since 2021, Israeli authorities have confiscated 190 Binance accounts linked to Islamic terrorist groups, as reported by Reuters on May 4. Two of these accounts were connected to ISIS, while almost all the remaining accounts were associated with three companies tied to Hamas. The total amount of cryptocurrency seized from these accounts remains undetermined. In April, however, Israel's National Bureau for Counter Terror Financing (NBCTF) revealed that it had seized over $137,000 in cryptocurrency from 80 Binance accounts owned by the same three companies, labeling them as "terrorist organizations." Furthermore, U.S. CFTC charges from March suggest that Binance executives were aware of and allowed transactions linked to Hamas.

♥️ Avalanche, Alibaba Cloud Partner On Blockchain Metaverse Suite: On May 4, Avalanche announced a partnership with Alibaba Cloud to develop a blockchain-based metaverse deployment platform called Cloudbase. Ava Labs CEO Emin told TechCrunch that this platform would enable users to create a metaverse within minutes. Sirer explained that a metaverse could be created almost instantly, with the chain up in 15 minutes and the wallet and turnkey up within hours. The digital assets of Cloudbase, including wearables and virtual land, will be built on the Avalanche blockchain. Alibaba Cloud will supply cloud computing, storage, and other infrastructure services. Additionally, the metaverse construction platform MUA DAO will support the project.
