📈 Nike OF1 NFT Sale Surpasses $1M: Nike's SWOOSH Web3 platform has finally launched its inaugural non-fungible token (NFT) sneaker collection, surpassing $1 million in sales despite delays and technical issues that impacted the user experience. The sale, initially scheduled to start on May 8, began on May 15, and the first phase called "First Access" was exclusively available to selected users who received "posters" as early entry tickets. These posters were distributed to 106,453 SWOOSH community members. The second phase, called "General Access," began on May 24, with the goal of selling any remaining NFTs from the total inventory. As of Thursday, over 66,000 NFTs had been sold, generating approximately $1.3 million in revenue. Each NFT was priced at $19.82, paying homage to the year of the Air Force 1 sneaker's debut. The sale is still ongoing and will now conclude on June 1. Despite the initial setbacks, Nike's NFT collection has seen significant sales success.

🎫 F1 NFT Tickets: Platinium Group, the prominent ticket issuer for Formula 1, is introducing non-fungible token (NFT) race tickets, starting with the upcoming Monaco Grand Prix. To facilitate the creation, minting, and sale of these NFT tickets, Platinium Group has partnered with blockchain infrastructure company Elemint and Web3 agency Bary. The NFT tickets will be minted on the Ethereum sidechain Polygon, as stated in a press release. These NFTs not only grant access to the race but also offer additional benefits to holders beyond the event itself. These benefits may include hospitality privileges and future race discounts, aiming to foster loyalty among collectors.

€ Circle Launches Euro-based Stablecoin On Avalanche Blockchain: Circle, the stablecoin issuer, has introduced Euro Coin (EUROC) on Avalanche, in a bid to provide faster and more efficient payment and financial services for developers and users. The launch of EUROC on Avalanche aligns with Circle's multi-chain strategy for the stablecoin. With EUROC now available on Avalanche, its liquidity is enhanced, and users have the choice to transact in euros, alongside Circle's USD-backed stablecoin, USD Coin (USDC). Last year, Circle introduced EUROC as a regulated stablecoin that is fully backed by euro reserves. This means that each EUROC token is backed by an equivalent amount of euros held in custody at financial institutions regulated in the United States.
